Yesterday at the WWDC, Apple announced the details for their latest Mac operating system. The new version (effectively 10.12), is to be rebranded as macOS (yes the capitalization is correct), rather than OSX, and brings the Mac operating system name in line with their other products, iOS, tvOS and watchOS.
