York Army Museum is home to the collections of the Prince of Wales’s Own Regiment of Yorkshire and the Royal Dragoon Guards. As a descendent of the Prince of Wales’s Own, the museum is also home to the collection of the modern Yorkshire Regiment.
The museum wanted a new design for their site, the requirements being that it had a more up to date look and feel, was easy to navigate and easy for the user to find the information they were looking for. It also had to be responsive and easy for the staff to update and maintain themselves.
The site is built on the WordPress platform, has a blog and events calendar, as well as a fantastic 3D virtual tour courtesy of the team at Immersive Tours Ltd. Design@79 host the site and provide ongoing support via one of our WordPress Care Plans.
