Harriet makes striking sliver and enamelled jewellery that is bold and colourful. Her old site was looking very tired and she asked us to give it a complete refresh and also add e-commerce capabilities. Harriet had some lovely professional photographs of her silver necklaces and earrings, all taken on a plain white background, so these formed the backdrop for the new design. The homepage is nothing more than a full-width, almost full-height image slider, a few words, and Harriet’s Instagram feed….it doesn’t get much simpler than that! Each following page also uses one of these fantastic images as a full width header, and along with plenty of white-space throughout, Harriet’s jewellery is displayed up front and centre. The site has full e-commerce capabilities, and looks great on mobile devices as well as a desktop PC. Design@79 host the website and provide full support through a WordPress Care Plan.
